If you are on unity, you need to tell compiz not to draw a shadow for conky. You can find info on how to do it in my harmattan conky.

Looks really slick! But i can't get it to work, allthough I followed the clear instructions...
I copied the files to my /home/username folder but the terminal says it can't find the program.
Can you help me? I'm pretty new to linux ;)

Excellent ! Worked 'out of the box' for me just following the ReadMe.

One question: Can you tell me the changes to make to display the temperature in °F instead of °C ?

Thanks !

It has to do with the Roboto font. You have no choce but to manipulate the "voffset" value!

First of all, great conky, but I have problem with icons. Icons doesn't appear. www.dodaj.rs/f/3S/ee/2ZJFnxBt/…
I copied icons in home folder: /home/darko/.jelly-weather-icons I use openSUSE 13.1 KDE.

Drago mi je da ti se sviđa!

Your terminal says, "unable to load image /home/darko/.cache/weather-1.png", so the problem is not in the ".jelly-weather-icons" folder but the ".cache" folder.
Maybe opensuse doesn´t have a ".cache" folder in the home dir? If so, then maybe you can make one, or you could open the ".conkyrc" file and change the location of the cache folder(it is at the end of the ".conkyrc" file).

BTW,
Looking at your screenshot, I just realized why I hate the damn roboto font.It doesn´t have a consistent height for some reason. When you place a normal roboto font next to robot light/thin, the latter gets shifted down.
At least that is how it is on my comp.So in order to compensate I had to use "Voffset".Notice the word "march" is slightly shifted up compared to "25".To fix this, open the conkyrc file and navigate to the calendar section.Remove/manipulate the "${voffset -2} variable.

I am not sure whether this is only due to the fault in the roboto font or due to some other font related problem. There is some strange thing with conky and font heights that I just can´t figure out.
For example, people on arch frequently get conkies out of alignment >_>

On Kubuntu 12.04 everything is good, icons are visible. I have ".cache" folder on openSUSE. It must be something to do with different distros. Even on Fedora 20 GNOME icons are visible. :)

Also, check whether you have the "imlib2-loaders" library installed.

Are there any weather icons in your ".cache" folder?

"imlib2-loaders" is the solution! It hasn't been installed. Now icon is visible. Thanks man! :)

Any chance you can do one 40-50% bigger, for big screen? I would do that it but I'm stuck with alignment for weather information. :D
